Corrales, 2009
Sims General Building completed all rammed earth as well as the majority of the general construction management on this 1200-square-foot home located in the heart of the Village of Corrales. A garage, guest house, separate meditation room, and main residence comprise the complete home. We constructed the walls of the main residence, the meditation room, and two forty-foot exterior walls using our own rammed earth mixture. The walls of the main living room and meditation room have been finished with plaster, adding a unique level of minimalism to the structure.
